One of the reasons we ship via FedEx Ground is their standard Saturday delivery service. This increases the number of days that residential orders are delivered.

A few last reminders here.

1. Midwest does get daily UPS pick up. If you live in a remote area such as the mountains or an isolated farm you may consider requesting UPS when placing your order. UPS is a better option for deliveries to remote address. (No Saturday delivery)

2. It is the busiest time of the year for both couriers. After looking at their standard delivery time chart, you may want to add a day to their suggested delivery time to avoid any disappointments. Midwest cannot guarantee delivery times. FedEx and UPS suspend their delivery guarantees for the 14 days before Christmas. 99.5% of the time everything is delivered on time.

3. If all else fails remember you can always print a photo of the product that you are buying, and put it in a card with a note. Let them know that they are going get another gift after Christmas and that they can brew beer or make wine on New Year’s Day! What a way to ring in the New Year.

Happy Holidays,
The crew at Midwest
